Cake Sets | Vrent’s Big Greek Birthday

How about another Dreamscapes cake? ๐Ÿ˜€

What I had to work with?

The Mood Board

I have to admit, it was a real challenge thinking how I was going to make this cake as vibrant as my other cakes, but it was refreshing to be working with a limited colour palette of white and blue. I had to infuse other colours to make it come alive, but yeah, I think that it turned pretty Greeky!

Greek Cake

When Jac forwarded me her moodboard, one thing popped into my mind- The Parthenon Frieze! Ironically, you won’t find it in Greece, but in the British Museum (to my advantage!) ๐Ÿ˜€ Allegedly, the British stole these goodies, but like I said, allegedly. On the walls of the museum, they said they were gifts from Greece. Hehe.

I loved looking through these walls because they told stories of life in the past, from parties, to simple day-to-day living activities. War stories, boring. Men drinking, drunk all over the floor- HILARIOUS! ๐Ÿ˜€

Whut, Balloons?!

How about the wise men of the greek world?!

Nutella Raspberry <3

And Zeus’ thunder bolts!

Wutcho problem, Zues-man?

So there, sorry for such a long post! But I remembered these photos, and yeah! That museum was awesome ๐Ÿ˜€ Hehe
